So I'm just confused if my crossfire is actually working or not... Here are the GPUZ screenshots
F5fSV.jpg
zJrk6.jpg

My computer specs are

*Windows 7- 64 Bit
*Tower -Cooler Master HAF 912
*Processor - AMD Phenom II X4 955 3.8GHz Quad-Core
*Memory/Ram - 8GB
*Storage- 1TB Western Digital Hard Drive 7200rpm
*Power Supply- Corsair 650W
*Motherboard - ASUS M4A79T Deluxe AM3 Motherboard
*Monitor - 23" LG monitor

On one of them it says enabled and on the other it says disabled? Did I do something wrong?

mine do the same thing (6970's) with gpuz but they both working cuz i have them overclock with afterburner and u can see usage and temps and all that stuff. maybe worth downloding msi afterburner. but running games is also a way to check based on fps.

Yeah I can't tell if it's more or less FPS with the second one added :/
It still feels a little the same and choppy sometimes in battlefield 3 even with this new one added.

edit: the fans are WICKED loud though. Idk if its the same loudness as when I had 1 but yeah

an easier way to tell is to use the Catalyst Control Center. It'll tell you if the two cards are working. If you still cant tell, there are some programs you can download like MSI afterburner which will show you charts or GPU activity, there is an inhouse AMD one also.

What is this Catalyst Control Center? I only have AMD Vision Engine Control Center. Thats what gets downlaoded when i try to download anything with the name catalyst i think....

Uhm when I go to AMD CrossFireX Config and press identify GPU it only shows the number 1.

I'll assume that was a joke tongue.gif

Your CF looks like it's working fine, though. When you first started your PC with your second card in, you should have got some blurb about crossfire being awesome, and after that, you'd never know anything was going on except for the increase in performance.

If you download radeonpro, it'll give you the option to put a little CrossfireX logo in the top right when both GPUs are working together to perpare frames if you're bothered.

And yeah, if all you're doing is watching a video, and if the video player has HWA enabled, only 1 gpu will do anything, and even then it won't be much unless it's beastly res content.

No its not a joke now what is it? Is it the same as Vision control center?

i can actually help you with that.

yes, vision control center is the same as catalyst control center, i believve they changed the name for it if you have a crossfire ready board and are using AMD ATI cards.

its still called catalyst control center if you are mixing nvidia and amd mobo's though
