Alienware AW2310 Problem!! Help!!

Hey guys, so I just received my REPLACEMENT alienware AW2310 from dell, I bought two and 1 was defective. (warrenty biggrin.gif )
Anyways, I thought I would cross fire them in a sequence where only the taskbar appears on Screen 1 and Screen 2 is just space (move windows there, etc.)

But for some f*cking reason im getting this type of "clipping" issue happening with my 2nd screen. When ever movement (such as this typing) on the first screen happens, the 2nd monitor seems to "clip". Here's a video I just recorded from my android, seeing as it would be best to show you than explain.

HERE IS A VIDEO

I'm running them off a XFX HD5850. My FIRST guess would be the DVI-D cord is defective, but I'll swap them and see. Or maybe the GFX Card?

I'm running both on DVI-D 120Hz 1080P. (Currently I have 3 of these monitors but like I said the 1 doesn't work and i will ship it to dell soon tongue.gif )
[[ Please do not troll me if you are against alienware.. I do not care about those kind of opinions. Please supply advice.]]

That is what happens when you buy Alienware. Start building custom it's affordable and Dell is full of crap. We all learn our lesson. Hope this one will help.

Tried wiggling the dvi cord on both ends? I have had similar issues but with a different color when the plug was loose.

Have you already swapped the equipment, so the screens are reversed, to make sure it isn't a monitor issue? Looks like a pretty good chance it good be the graphics card if it's not the monitor.

Here's a lesson for you, next time, before you submit reply, actually look through the OP.

The OP's rig is not an Alienware. His monitors are Alienware branded but the AW2310 are very good monitors. Actually, most Dell monitors are very good in general.

Next time, before you make baseless assumptions, at least have the decency to stay on topic

OP, try another cable or port on the GFX card.

Nevermind. I have figured out that mygraphics card has a crossfire issue.

It seems that even when i swapped the screen positions like 1 - 2 to 2 - 1, that the clipping occurs on the other screen.

Better than a broken screen biggrin.gif
