you've already got 6850's CF, those perform pretty well, why do you want to upgrade?

Cause I never use both of them together lol... Plus they give me grief every now and again thus thought it would be better to just get a higher single card lol.

I'm pretty sure those out perform a single card that is under 400.

But, If you do want a single graphics card, what resolution do you primarily play at?
And do you want to max out/get good settings in any specific game?

I currently play on a 1680x1050 monitor... However will eventually get a better monitor lol (but then again by the time I get round to that Ill probably be getting new cards anyway)

I can go more than 400... But if the difference between them are not that big then Id rather not if you get my point...

Most modern ish games... Not really fussed... At the moment I can play anything I own maxed out on just one of my 6850s and not really notice any slow downs...

For ATI, a 6950 2GB or 6970 should do you good.

Nvida, a 570 or 580. I think the 580 is more than 400, but it depends on your area. If it is more than 400, just go with the 570, the performance increase from 570 to 580 isn't worth the extra money if it's that much.

Then it looks like you can get the 6950 2GB, or 560 TI, both of which are pretty similar cards. They'll both do you good.

Make sure you think upgrading for 300-400 NZ dollars is worth it, cause you're current system will do better than those cards.

Yeah its too much hassle... The cards at the moment give me issues every now and again which I cant seem to fix (and Ive tried everything)

The cards themselves work mint (tried them in heaps of systems) but for some reason in combination with the rest of my system there is issues...

Better going with a non CF setup I think... And the CF 6850 were overkill for me anyway lol.
