Ok I've already asked this question but I just saw something that stopped me lol

will a AMD PHENOM II X4 Quad Core 955 go in a

ASRock 970 Extreme4 AM3+ MB, AMD 970 + AMD SB950, 4x DDR3, 7.1CH Audio, GbLAN, PCI-Ex16, CrossFireX

or a MSI 870A-G46 AM3 AMD® 870+SB850 SATA3 USB3 ATX

Witch is better to get?

i would say stay away from msi board and buy the asrock one.... i think msi mobos catch fire, sometimes even on stock... i can be wrong so please correct me if im am...

the 955 will go in either board

asrock is better

msi uses cheap mosfets, and the asrock one has heatsinks on them

Yeah I dont really like msi. The last board i had caught fire 3 times -__- (Good thing I got the warranty ) But yeah id go with the AsRock

The latter board has a high VRM fail rate and is unsafe to use with a 125W processor. The ASRock one also has better features (SLI/CrossfireX).
