5970 not registering cross fire?

Thread Starter
I was able to pick up another 5970 from a friend who bought a new rig. (so now im trying to quad fire them)

And i can not for the life of me figure out how to set them up correctly. but my first question is if i have cross fire 5970's would all 4 cores show up in CCC? I believe my computer is not picking up the 2nd one.

Upon running heaven at 1080p i got ~1500 score. I fell like it should be much higher. Any guesses or help? I have ran both my cards individually (and in each PCI slot.) so I know that they are good.

Build: will be put in my sig soon but for now
I7 920@4.0
Asus P6t Deluxe V2
12 Gb Patriot Ram
5970*2 (one Sapphire, one Diamond.)
1TB WD Caviar Black
1000W Antec
Silverstone Raven Rv01

If y'all need any more info just ask.

You should see 4 GPUs in CCC and in Device Manager.

Uninstall all CCC drivers and CAP, then reinstall with 2 5970s in the system.

Edit: Also try different crossfire brige.

I'm doing that now. Hope it works. Thanks for the advice.

edit: That didn't work, but i found the problem. When i first hooked them up i didn't plug in my pci cables to my modular power supply for my 2nd card. What a noob. But thanks for the help anyways.
