Finally a chance to play this great game, I've only heard good things about it. Is there something bad in this game? Difficulty doesnt count as i love hard games

PC release date will be August 24th,

Online will use Games for Windows Live, which I expected and I actually welcome, I can join my friends that bought it for the 360 now and I get the benefit of my fantastic PC powering the game.

GFWL doesn't mean cross-platform play

. GFWL is quite annoying in my experience with GTA4, so I'm disappointed at that news.

If that's true I won't touch it until it's $20, half the reason I'm buying this a second time is to play with everyone I know that got it for the 360, I'm not going to pay a bunch of money just to see Blightown not have a trashcan framerate.

I will gladly pay out the nose to play it in glorious 1600p. I'm praying it's not a hack job and runs half decently though.

Cross-platform play is extremely rare, there's only one or two games that support it. I think that would have been a pretty big news story if the PC version supported anything else.

We'll see man, we're both fans of the series, I hope it's not some half ass'd minimal at best port that From Software handed to a company that doesn't care about it and just barely got it working for the PC and decided that's all that was needed.

If it was cross platform it would be amazing, but I'm not expecting it.

I also hope it's at least a Vert - game, I'm not expecting it to be Hor +, and if it's stretched I won't even touch it.

I really want to go back and finish my second playthrough or start a new one, but I want someone to chill with in it for a few days.

My understanding is that namco handled all the ports, including the xbox version. From just made it for ps3. Also the reason they went with namco instead of atlus, who had much better customer support

I think it's a safe assumption the PC versions new content is the DLC From Software was talking about for the console versions.

At the very least it should have a fantastic framerate throughout the game, even when the game wasn't slowing to a crawl in some areas some other areas still dropped below 30, including some boss battles.

That new "quick matchmaking" system for co-op and pvp really has my curiosity, I hope it doesn't ruin the experience, but at the same time I don't care since I've already experienced the game on the console the way it was meant to be, meaning that matchmaking system.

Guessing the chimera boss is the wolf hybrid we saw in the trailer.

Perhaps it's using GFWL for DRM + achievements, it's still possible GFWL might be abandoned for Steam too.
