Thoughts on Razer Scarab mouse pad or Hayate....? - Page 2

Not a hayate, but I got a pair of Large Hien Soft pads its probably the best pad i've used recently.

Whatever they use as a bottom surface within a day is almost glued to the desk in terms of lateral movement, but comes up as if it was just laying there. Really cool compared to my zowie and talent that would just move around my desk over time.

Its about as soft as the talent in terms of "squishy-ness", but has a slightly texture surface. Not as rough as a Zowie G-RF, but more pronounced than a tight weave cloth pad.

Seems to be holding up extremely well, looks/feels 100% new after a month of everyday use.

Its sorta exactly what I was hoping it would be, super smooth gliding with enough resistance to give you some feel through the mouse without making it feel like your on a hard surface.

Best comparison I can give is that it glides like my puretrak talent, but has slight feedback similar to my old func 1030 when its on the rough side that I used to take to lans.

Well not wanting to spend $30+ on a mouse pad right now and impatient to wait for the Hayate so I decided to give a medium sized Hien Hard a try. Fingers crossed.
