The cheaper one, since sound cards don't differ much in sound quality. Nice upgrade from onboard though.

Honestly? Neither.
Your Xtreme gamer is a decent card, you'd have to go up to the Titanium HD or a similarly priced Xonar to hear any real difference.

Oh gawd, please don't get a Fatal1ty. It's overpriced for what it is. TBH I would save some money and get a Xonar DS. You probably won't be able to tell much of a difference.

unless you upgrade your headphones you wont hear much of a quality difference. Although if you do or just want to buy a sound card regardless i recommend the [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Creative-Blaster-Titanium-Internal-SB1270/dp/B0041OUA38"]Amazon.com: Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD Internal Sound Card with THX SB1270: Electronics[/ame]
because it will last you a good while if you ever do upgrade your headphones, and is the top quality sound card choice for gamers (true EAX 5.0)
but if its a bit to expensive go for the Xonar DS. hope that helps
