Hardware acceleration = slow video

Thread Starter
When I enable hardware acceleration for flash videos on youtube and go full screen, the video seems to run at like 5 fps and it's impossible to watch. I've got the latest flash player and I figured it's probably an issue with my video card. Does anyone else have this problem?

I have firefox issues where it slows down and lags with hardware acceleration enabled. I just keep it disabled.
