I'm a little scared of Beta drivers so I have installed the regular 280.26 driver for my 580. Although there are two updates ahead of my drivers... Beta ones.

I heard many people saying everything runs smoothly with Beta drivers...
Which one is better ?

Running the 285.38 beta for bf3 right now, I switch it up pretty frequently though.

I NEVER use beta drivers. They don't pay me to test their drivers and deal with headaches. I never did with AMD and I won't with Nvidia.

I've had my 580 since January 15th, 2011. Clean install of windows 7 and upgrade to current driver each time right on top of the other with final release only.

So far not one issues at all in any way shape or form related to driver issues.

BF3 beta asked me to upgrade to the beta 285.38 and I blew by that request, it still let me log into a server with regular release 280.26 and I haven't had any problems. I know it's a beta and even with beta drivers it can have issues.

That's just my take on the whole driver issues IMO.

My experience with 280.26 drivers and RAGE:

My rig is the one in my sig, with RAGE installed on an SSD. When I first played it I was getting horrible texture popping as well as low frame rates and stuttering. Framerates were on average in the 50's-60 and in the low 20's at some points. I only ever had 60 fps when I stood in one spot, not looking at anything with lots of detail. After applying the fixes my texture popping issues are almost completely gone. Occasionally I see a blurry wall for a split second if I've never looked at it before. It doesn't take long for the right texture to pop in however and once it does pop-in it stays even if you look away. Unfortunately I still have bad framerates and stuttering that none of the fixes could fix. I will try upgrading drivers to latest beta and see if that helps and post back here if it does or does not.

I had some issues with 280.26 so I grabbed the 285.38 when they came out and all is well again.

285.38 has been working fine for me!
