Pump for 3 RX360

Thread Starter
I'm looking forward to upgrading my chilled water system and I need your advice.

My plan is to hang 3 XSPC RX360 on the right side of a Corsair 800D case.

Will a single D5 (or MCP655) pump strong enough for these radiators in series? In the loop where is also a chiller block (similar to a normal CPU block).

Also Is it possible to run 3 radiator in parallel?

Thanks a bunch!

Radiators aren't that restrictive to a loop, it's very minimal at worst. I'd worry more about the restriction of the water blocks being used more than that of the radiators.

Download Martin's Flow Rate Optimizer which will give you a rough idea.

I used a single D5 for a loop that included 2 Quad rads, CPU Block and 2 GPU FC blocks without problem although I had to have the D5 on setting 3 or higher.

I'm using a single MCP655 with a BP mod top running through a cpu block, 2 quad rads, and 4 equivalent gpu blocks without a single hitch.

Setting up will not be easy, I would make sure that you go for clear hose so that you can tell when a rad is bled or not.

Have you seen these. http://www.frozencpu.com/products/12293/ex-rad-196/Watercool_MO-RA3_9_x_120mm_PRO_Extreme_Radiator_-_Black_Powder_Coat_22020.html?tl=g30c95s667#blank

Yeah I actually prefer clear hoses.
What do you mean exactly setting up is not easy? Maybe I miss it in my planning.

Yes, I thought about those MO-RA3 beasts. I already have a RX360, so I think adding two more will be more economical and the performance should be better MO-RA3 360mm kookoo.gif
