3DMARK Vantage wrong CPU clock - 2600K

Thread Starter
I have overclocked my CPU to 4.30GHz and when playing Crysis it performs at this clock but when I run the 3DMARK Vantage physics CPU test I can see in the RealTemp monitoring program that it's only pushing the CPU to 3.50GHz. Why is that?

All boards are different in what the setting is called, but double check you don't have some sort of power limiting enabled.
