thanks, just bought it, £4.50 pretty good price, imo they should just have micro transactions, many companies are realising that we don't like monthly fees!, we prefer to spend our money when we want, and when we do we spend more than enough on silly things like clothes and mounts etc (me) haha.

Great to see the team hard at work trying to fix the huge train wreck. Look forward to giving FF14 another shot some time.

There seems to be soo so many changes made, including AUDIO OPTIONS!!!!

Might have to boot this up again.

Finally it seems like things are looking up. I was one of the unlucky that preordered the collectors edition > Only played for a couple months before I couldn't deal with the constant crap the game threw at you. I really want to go back as I have a ton of buddies that migrated from FFXI. Despite the shortcomings, we had some fun once they added Notorious Monsters. Guess I'll have to break out my copy and reinstall it to see the changes and if it makes the game worth getting back into.

Finally!!! I got FFXIV the day it came out and absolutely loved the graphics. So glad this patch is finally out. Will be starting back up again shortly then xD.

Hopefully they manage to fix the game before it's forgotten entirely. I actually feel bad for the team that got saddled with that mess of a game.

If it were up to me then they'd call it quits, come up with some sort of compensation for those that bought the game and then have Naoki Yoshida's team start work on a singleplayer Final Fantasy XV, recycling XIV's art direction in the process.

It is hands down the best art direction for a Final Fantasy game since IX and it pains me that it's been wasted on such a mishandled MMO. If Final Fantasy XV looked like this then I'd be as excited as a group of tweens that just met the Biebs.

I didnt uninstall it, so every now and then I log in and see how it looks. since they added auto attack i feel like it plays slower. I didnt mind hitting the button everytime. Ill be sure up update it tonight and give it another try. I think every MMO comming out right now like SWTOR should have great graphics like 14 does, but not suck If they just upgraded the graphics in XI and dropped PS2 then that also would have been awesome lol

Thinking about buying this game. It's pretty cheap and I need a change from WoW.
Any idea where I should start? EU or US? I'm located in EU, but I don't want to play on empty servers.

I'm assuming the game itself still isn't free, but there is no subscription? Guessing they haven't touched their original launch website since on there it says they're charging $13/month so I'm a little confused. I might end up purchasing the game to pass some time if it is in fact free but still feels like a risk even to purchase the game itself.
