Here are my results from the benchmark tool. I must say that even with all the bells and whistles (and there are many) in the graphics options i am very surprised to see how optimized this is for PC.

Score 10167
CPU 4.8 ghz
GPU 1306 core / 3110 mem
Graphic settings all on Max

Not bad. I was also surprised to see 60% CPU usage in some areas.
This was using my i5 2500k @ 4.8Ghz - HD 7850 2GB

Definitely responds more to CPU overclocking than GPU overclocking. A 200MHz jump on my processor netted me an extra 200 points where as a 100MHz increase in GPU clock speed only netted me an extra 270 points. Too bad SLI isn't supported, all dem chocobos were just wrecking my card!

Overall I'm very pleased, especially since I'm running everything at stock right now...

High Settings:
1920x1080
Score: 6755
Average Framerate: 54.184
Performance: Very High

Maximum Settings:
1920x1080
Score: 5884
Average Framerate: 47.515
Performance: Very High

If this is indicative to how the game will more or less end up running, I'll probably end up sticking with high settings, I'll take a little less pretty for a slightly more fluid framerate. Down the road if I end up picking up a second 6970, maybe I can crank things up a bit (assuming the retail version supports Crossfire/SLI).
