Hmm wonder if the 610 would be a good card for dedicated physX(i'm not a fan of cpu physX), and thus allow for Xfire 7970's to shine a bit more. I ask as I'm not in beta and am hoping that some of the special effects and animations could be offload to a dedicated physX card like the 610/460/etc (especially because untill 14 arr launches i'm a be boarder-landing it up.)

I think you need at least a X40 series card to do PhysX.

Something strange. After installing the nVidia Drivers to try that card, now with my HD 7850 I struggle to hit 5k, when before I was hitting 5.5K. I'll have to uninstall everything, and hopefully I get my performance back.

Sounds like the old drivers are causing problems. Try downloading DriverSweeper from Guru3d.com. Then uninstall the drivers like normal in Control Panel, run windows safe mode, and run DriverSweeper from there. Then when you reinstall the drivers, make sure you choose "Custom Install" when you install the drivers, and tick "Clean install".

Yeah, I didn't think the nVidia Drivers would mess with the AMD Drivers, but I guess I'll have un-install them/Driver Sweeper etc.

Oh right, your main card is an AMD card. Then skip the part about choosing "clean install" :-p Let us know if it made a difference.

Hello all I was thinking of getting a used laptop to play FFXIV because my Dell N5050 i3 with HD 3000 graphics only get 1200 or so in the benchmark which is low.
So I found a $200 HP dv6-2190us with an i7 720qm NVIDIA GeForce GT 230M and 8gb DDR3 memory and a $200 MSI CX640 with i5 2410m Nvidia Geforce 520M and 8gb DDR3 memory . My question these will this run the game at normal or better settings and which one is better? Thanks for the help
