Is the game soleable? As the one thing that killed me about FFXI after awhile is that you have to group up(I spent hours looking for party on FFXI on my Dark Knight back in the days).

How is the combat? Is it more fast paced?

Is it too late to start now?

Are you integrated with the JAP crowd or is there just a US only server?

Also do you guys think my rig can handle the game in ultra or high graphics?
Thanks for the answers in advance.

The servers were integrated just like FFXI, no such thing as too late since they are still fixing and adding things. I dont think your rig will have a problem playing on High+ setttings.

I wonder if they fixed the issues with Ambien Oclusion

If the game was in the sub-$20 category I think I would buy it pretty quickly. Exhausted all the Rift content in about 3 months

vote vote vote guys!!!!

Edit: For those of you with questions, the lodestone website in the OP will answer all of your questions.

But as for some of the main fixes that have really translated into a much better game, the combat system has totally gotten rid of the stamina function which made combat a terrible spam fest, that was abolished, there is now an auto attack, the addition of mini and side quests, travel is a now a breeze with chocobos, and airships, physical levels were abolished etc.

I signed on last night to see how the changes have transferred and , wow the game just feels a lot better from the last time i played it.

I am looking into getting this thread made official, so please vote so OCN can have an official world/linkshell when it comes to ff14!

EDIT: official benchmark added to OP

I haven't played since they announced they got a whole new team working on a patch and new content. Might get back into it, chocobo riding is mighty tempting.
