No sound from SPDIF Out - Titanium HD

Thread Starter
So i just hook my receiver with 5.1 system to my titanium HD. I check check off "Enable bit match recording". put encoder to DD and i see my receiver also say DD so i know it connect but the problem i can not get any sound out of SPDIF Out.

In sound, i selected SPDIF as default also, note that there 2 thing on playback tab, speaker and SPDIF Out. The thing is when i play my movie and select output as speaker, the 5.1 system play just like normal and i even hear the rear speaker and the receiver still have DD on and encoder on my card still on. However, i suspect this is not real 5.1 but rather just matrix.

So the question is why there is no sound coming out from SPDIF out?

ps. i also have a pair of BX5a hooked up to the L/R channel on the card if it any relevant to the problem

i tried to get it to work by use different sampling rate but it forced creative to turn off encoder....

What cables for audio/video are you running to the receiver? The last time I had trouble was when I was using dvi-hdmi adapter, I had to connect the SPDIF cable to the video card and enable it through the settings.
