Can quote what you like dude...your still wrong.

A bottlneck will show up more at a lower resolution as the CPU will be pushed more at low res(if VSync is disabled)

Higher resolutions are more dependant on GPU power, this is common knowledge on this site.

am back!
umm about the bottleneck argument, i am gonna go with comps purely cause he has presented evidence, which is no reflection my opinion of superj1977
back OT, i dont think they sell the AsRock board in England so it looks like its gonna be the p8z68 board (or whatever its name is)

http://www.guru3d.com/article/geforc...-sli-review/10

Look at the top three cards, the 5870 xfire, the 480Sli and the 580 tri-sli

All getting 120Fps, why? BECAUSE OF A CPU BOTTLENECK.

Edit - dude, who the hell is going to be running lower resolutions nowadays? Especially on the rig that this man has. Your argument is futile and pointless. I'm done with this now anyway.

New amd chips are coming out soon, a lot of sites are pointing to Oct 12th, pretty sure your motherboard is going to be compatible with a bios update.

Really well i aint gettin the i5 till umm november 7th xD so ill keep a look out

EDIT: just remember why i finally decided to jump the fence!
basically the AMD CEO change nearlly every other week, this to me says stay away as AMD could collapse like this, plus intel own 89% market share this puts even more pressure on AMD as they only have like 8% or somet, this is really bad for AMD (as far as my GCSE business Studies tells me) also i am not confident in the power of bulldozer (i think i read an interview with one of the engineers complaining about the CEO changes and how its affecting R&D) all this tells me not to pin my hopes on AMD or the bulldozer core,
the only reason am not gettin a 570 is because i already got one 6950 an would cost too much to buy 2x 570's xD

Well this thread is looking dead now so i guess ill be going with P6Z68 board thanks for all the advice, and i still dont know who is right about the bottleneck, but to my own knowledge, well i dunno i think the higher resolutiont the higher the bottleneck but when you introduce things Like AA it can appear that its quite the opposite, but i dunno
Thanks everyone and Peace Out.
