GTX 580 small flickers - Page 2

That's not the card failing. Those are just the games textures. It's not your card artifacting. What you are seeing in crysis 2 is textures overlapping. And in your Mass Effect video, I couldn't see anything wrong. I'm assuming you referring to the flickering of the galaxy map? But it's supposed to do that, it's a projection. So just relax, nothing it wrong with your card.

Cheers!

Well, you may be right but I also get flickers in AC2 and Deus EX.
As for ME2,well I'm not sure but the map didn't flicker that much on my previous cards.
I also ran JC2/AVP benchmark and notice some flickers in lights.
They are small and may not be noticeable in some games but they are there. No matter what settings I choose

wait wait, this isn't normal? I have seen texture flickering exactly as you show in the videos with every build I have ever owned. I figured it was normal to have :|

Agreed.

We all have these instances to some degree.

Here's another more notable one in Just cause 2(Flickers at the end of the map)

What you are experiencing is normal. It is usually more prominent with systems using SLI/Crossfire.

But if it really makes you feel better, just return/RMA your card and get a new one.
