also did you leak test yours out side of the system and also how do you power up the PSU without it plugged into the board do you need some kind of adapter

^^ I didn't leak test mine outside of the system and it was just fine, 7/16" over 1/2" makes for a nice tight fit. The kit comes with an adapter for the 24pin Motherboard cable which tricks it into thinking its plugged in, you don't need any RAM or video card, sound card etc to be plugged in only the pump needs to be plugged in to get power.

There's the paper clip trick but you wont need if you get a Rasa kit. It comes with a adapter for the power supply cable.

I leak tested with everything in the case just didn't have power to anything.

That's right at the start of the leak test just put some paper towels down right after that pic. The white adapter is what i was talking about right in the middle of the pic. but by all means leak test it outside the system probably safer anyway.

This was my first ever attempt at watercooling and I only had one small leak cuz I moved a tube and a barb came loose. So If I can do it anyone can. I don't know to much about tubing but I'm just going to pick up some PrimoChill stuff. Dunno if tubing affects temps but I'm sure theres varying degree of quality out there.

what im going to do to ensure there is no leaks is buy some of these hose clampshttp://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...roducts_id=690 u can pick them up at your local hardware or online what im going to do is spray paint them shinny black

If you are in Oz you could try these http://thekoolroom.com/category.php?id_category=99. Kr is a good alt to PCCG and has some stuff they dont stock.

Good luck with the build.

I just used the clamps that were in the kit for now. Alot of people don't even use clamps seems up to preference. My leak was from a barb getting unscrewed from the res and I caught it as soon as I did it, it wasn't the fitting of the bard and tube. If you do that just make sure you don't over tighten the clamp.

Yep I agree, its pretty easy to accidently loosen the fitting as the tube act as leverage, I always twist the tube onto barb in a clockwise motion to try and reduce the risk.

Nice I didn't think of that. Will be doing that when I redo my loop. I was just really afraid of overtightened the barb and cracking the plastic on the res.
