Also fits pockets if they are on the side.
Not my kind of phone but the idea is nice.

You could argue that. But then you would have to argue that the hand that holds it is a completely flat surface. You would have to argue that the face you put it against is completely flat. You would also have to argue that the pocket you put it in is flat.

When the device conforms to your body, in all the meaningful ways you are supposed to operate it. It would be a pretty retarded argument.

Also footprint refers to the surface area of an object. Thickness doesn't really come into it. Unless for some reason, you like to balance phones on their edge. But in that case, the phone would have the same footprint as it would, if it was a flat device.

Well the Sprint LTE news is playing into my plan.. The only questions left are how long the Verizon exclusivity is and if Sprint will sell their variant with an LTE radio before the network goes live Q2-Q3 2012.

Should be a good year in mobile with the Samsung 4212 holding things down the first half and processors like Tegra Kal-El holding up the rear.

A part of me really hopes the Nexus will have the 4212 in it, but it doesn't seem very likely

Hoping a version with the real hardware comes to Verizon..tired of getting shafted by neutered Verizon phones.

If you're on Verizon there is no chance you'll get a 4212, the TI 4460 has basically been confirmed with the most recent leaks. My hopes are in variant devices similar to how the SGSII was launched in North America.

I am on Verizon, and yeah I've heard of this rumor going around.. I hope it's a rumor otherwise I will be a sad panda.

So sexy... I'm incredibly torn right now. Really liking the Prime but don't feel like waiting any longer as I'm stuck with a feature phone at the moment. Debating whether or not to grab the Galaxy S2 instead...

It'd be rather stupid to get the SGII instead of the Nexus Prime... Given the obvious superiority of the last.
