What's the opposite of Vdroop?

Idle volts: 1.440v

Full load volts: 1.456v

(tests on on CPU-Z)

Normal?

(also, I've got my volts in BIOS set at 1.4125....odd.)

Thoughts?

Running Load Line Calibration on high I assume ?

I would be careful with your overclock if your running your motherboard settings like that, much easier to plan for slight vdroop on a CPU.

I've never come across a motherboard that would actually increase voltage at load unless you had the onboard power settings configured to do it. By default, every board I have come across has had at least a slight drop at 100% load.

Unless I missed it in the BIOS, my motherboard doesn't have LLC...but again, the motherboard is reporting set voltage at 1.4125 when CPUZ reports at 1.440 idle.

Yep, some boards do not have LLC

Look up "Pencil Mod" and see if that's available for your board - it lowered vDroop or gets rid of it.

I will definitely check into that, but again, I'm not getting VDroop, i'm getting voltage increases at load.

vBoost is what it is commonly referred to around the net... i get a bit on my board as well, only about 0.02V though, under extreme OC conditions.

Yeah, i'm getting quite a bit more than that. That's why I'm a touch worried. I'm under the chip's theoretical max voltage in Bios...but not when it "boosts" up.

I get vboost on my board as well.

In the bios I am set at 1.47.

At full load cpuz shows 1.49.

Temps are fine I'm rolling with it.

As I said already, I don't have LLC as an option on this board.

I repeat, I don't have LLC.
