It's probably a safe bet that Sprint will report it's largest sales EVER and Verizon will likely follow suit.

Isn't this a cute post
Is that why apple only has 27% market and dropping , while google has 47% and rising?

If all you care about is market share, that's great. You're basically comparing an operating system to a handset. Great job. Now compare any individual phone any iPhone and look at market share.

Oh okay, didn't realize the A5 was that out of date, considering it annihilates everything on the market according to AnandTech. But you guys keep drinking that's android flavored koolaid. Ignorance is bliss I guess.

I am just saying they are stumbling. Market share proves that.
When apple was leaning I am sure market share mattered to you

All individual companies are making a living because of google.

The A5 has an awesome gpu. If it is the same variant found in the ipad 2. We do not know that as yet.

It has already been answered. Look at the post below yours.

The CPU is comparable to hardware, in phones mind you, for the past year. The GPU is the only hardware update that is better then its competition. And that has been on the market for some time.

Stop trolling. Don't argue A5, as you seriously have no idea what you are talking about when you consider what the chip actually is. But that's fine, I wouldn't expect you to have any understanding of actual digital system design. You've already lost the argument.

I'm not wrapped up in market share like you android folks. That's all any of you care about - numbers on paper. Like somehow higher market share makes all Android sets better phones or something. If that's what helps you sleep at night, great.

Do you not understand WHY Android has that much market share? It's because it's literally on hundreds of phones, whether it's feature phones, smart phones or dumb phones. Just because android has nearly double the market share does not prove anything.

If you can somehow say 200K phones sold in 12 hours on a single carrier is a stumble, well, I'll concede.

Holier than thou, much? You don't have to answer to anyone. Just spew out a bunch of nonsense, back it up with someone else's thoughtless post, call someone a fanboy and essentially stupid, and call it a win. Done quoting you, you're worthless.

how is 200k pre orders different from numbers on paper?
200k phones sold and market share is dropping does nothing for apple. Simple proves its that same iphone fans tossing the old for the new.

Thoughtless post?
The a5 cpu is not powerful. Its the gpu that is powerful. I thought you would know that being a sacred apple follower.

I still really don't understand what the hubbub is about. The iPhone 4S is a good stopgap while Apple gears up for the iPhone 5 next year.

This is a clear sign that ForumViewer is a troll. This member did not even read my post. This is ridiculous ForumViewer, are you 300 or whatever his screen name was, the Nvidia fanboy, came back to troll under Apple to get your fix?

Get out. People like you are ruining this community.

It is, it is a good phone. Apple fanboys like to make it over dramatic with their absolute ignorance to anything relating digital system design. And result to calling you worthless because you understand technology on a greater scale then them. What a ...

Trying to be unbiased toward Apple on a PC biased forum is futile. You guys are wasting your time.

Good job reading the titles on tech news and your market share percentage is flawed.

Android has higher market share as a whole, but compare each smartphone maker to Apple and the iPhone is #1.

If all you care about is paper specs and market share then I guess you failed to read about Apple's market cap exceeding MS, but since it's Apple you don't care am I right?
