Marketshare of the OS matters more than of the phone for a smartphone, means more support in every way. (ie. More apps, games, etc)

That said, the fact the iPhone is consistently the most selling phone is amazing and a testament to Apples great marketing.

To compare it to a desktop, the Exynos is a 2600k at 5Ghz with a HD6970, the A5 is a 2600k at 4.5Ghz with a HD6990, faster for games but slower for CPU based stuff.

Gee that reminds me of another argument about an OS vs an entire Apple system.

How did windows vs Apple turn out again?

Good job reading the titles on tech news and your market share percentage is flawed.

Android has higher market share as a whole, but compare each smartphone maker to Apple and the iPhone is #1.

If all you care about is paper specs and market share then I guess you failed to read about Apple's market cap exceeding MS, but since it's Apple you don't care am I right?

Google (GOOG) has widened Android’s U.S. smartphone lead over Apple (APPL). In the quarter that ended in August, Android handsets had a 43.7 percent market share, according to comScore, versus 27.3 percent for the iPhone. And given that there’s no iPhone 5, the lead could continue to extend.

How did Ms get into this?
You apple fanboys amuse me everyday.

EDIT: Every company cares about market share.

Yes, and the first to have (transmit/receive) dual antennas.

We do know that. However, I think the GPUs are running at a lower clock speed. The 4S boasts up to 7 times the graphics performance of the previous iPhone, whilst the iPad 2 boasted up to 9x.

This we do not know. No one has a 4s to test and show this 7x performance improvement.

Dual antenna is not a feature and is not the first to use it.

All the masses care about is that is wasn't NAMED "5" and that's all it is... a name.

Its still the new iPhone no matter what they called it, I don't get why everyone is hating on it so much..

There's no question that many people are disappointed with what the 4s brings to the table over the Iphone 4. I don't think it's foolish to think that the door is now open for a phone like the Nexus Prime to make a big splash. In fact, it's foolish to assume it wouldn't.

No. iPhone 4S is a 2600 @ 3.4Ghz, GS2 is a 2600K @ 4.5Ghz. Also it means you can overclock it unlike iPhone. Its 800Mhz vs 1.2Ghz
