[HS] Thermal Compound Roundup - October 2011 - Page 3

I remember reading something a long time ago, and someone liquid cooled their computer with cooking grease (It worked great). I guess that this further proves how well grease transfers heat.

Lifestyle choices aside, does this taste anything like real mayo (assuming you have not always been vegan and had real mayonnaise at one point)?

As much I would would rather die young by indulging in foods that will kill me, if there are healthier alternatives that still taste almost as good I might as well take advantage of them.

I really liked their previous roundups but this one feels fishy.
agreed, whats up with them changing multiple variables? thats instant fail. i used AS5 when i first setup my system, and when i switched to shin etsu my temps dropped by 3c, without changing any of the other variables in the equation. their room temps vary from 13c to 26c.

some of their highest rated tims rate much lower on most other tim roundups... still looking for the one with phoby indigo and several others.

i wouldnt recomend anyone using this as a reference.

side note: waste of chocolate!

duke may have found a way into the computer industry...

and im not sure that 'hardware secrets' is actually uncomplicating the complicated but instead insuring us that putting condoments inside your computer wont turn out like the white rabits pocket watch.

yup thats the one i was thinking of. theres a few others showing AS5 performing about the same comparison. dont really count phobya and indigo. indigo has its risk during the mounting procedure, and phobya is nearly impossible to find.

but most certainly Shin etsu over AS5
