Another rad in my 800d

Thread Starter
I was at my prefered limit on my temps while folding and wanted to add another GTX 480 for 3 way SLI. I removed a GTX 260sc gpu and added another GTX 480. I knew another 480 would add more heat so I thought I would try to add another 240 rad.

I pulled out a 240 SR1 that was laying down in the bottom and added 2 EK 240coolstreams - sideways. I am pulling air from the bottom and front with Typhoon ap15's and blowing out the back side. I wanted to maintain a quiet rig while improving the temps.

Before swapping out the gpu's I seen about 8-10c temp difference with the extra rad. I also had a 1c lower temp with the 92mm rad in the loop.

I am cooling 3 GPU's , CPU, mobo with 1 loop. 655 pump with a sr1 480, 2 ek 240's and a 92mm rad. Overall temps came down while keeping the OC and adding the hotter card.

Kudos on a job well done. I couldn't figure out how to get my Air Flow Pro to mount upright. It's upside down on mine.

That's a good looking rig, I like the dual rad set up in the bottom.

Thanks everyone..
Took lots of time and a bunch of changes to get it like I wanted.

Its a pretty tight fit. Had to clip the top first and then with a small screwdriver pop the bottom bracket in..
