Q2 Does the S27A950D to big from 50-60cm away?

Q3. Does the monitor has issues with backlight?

Q4 Is the monitor worth the price compared to the 27" S27A750D?

No. But some users are getting around the issue. I'm sure someone will chime in that knows more.

No, that's how far I'm away right now.

No. A little backlight bleed in the left lower corner on mine.

For me it was. The color and 120hz most important.

Depends. Next to a mouse, it's big. Next to a car, it's small.

The monitor is big. Several members have posted pictures that can answer your question in the 950d club.

Hello mcg75 :-)

With a pixel pitch of 0.311, I'm a little scared about the pixelisation effect on this monitor.

But some people, on another forum, posted really close up shots of the screen, and surprisingly, everything on the desktop (text, icons, etc) seem really sharp and not jagged at all. (almost like my 25" monitor, which has a 0.285 pixel pitch)

So what do you think of your monitor in this regard ?

Thanks in advance :-)

This monitor is perfectly sharp. I'm sitting 2 feet from it and there is no pixel pitch problem whatsoever. I normally adjust the sharpness of text through windows 7 cleartype but I've had no need with this monitor.

Through the use of a software emulator that pretends to be the NVidia 3D Vision usb dongle. There's some setup steps involved that are described here
On Win7 X64 I needed to do the init steps in an elevated command prompt but now it runs fine.
If the NVidia driver outputs the Frame Sequential 3D Image then enable that 3D mode on your 950D and put on your glasses.

Well it's noticably bigger than my 24" but certainly not too big to get a good game of Quake.

What? The panels are the same between a 750 and a 950... Both are also 120hz. The only difference between a 750 and a 950 is A) The stand and B) 950 has DVI-D.

The T version is supposed to have the 100% color accuracy feature as well but reviews are saying it doesn't match up.

And if I was to buy the 750, I would not be able to run 120hz as my GTX 580 does not have displayport. So I'd be stuck buying a new card and the monitor. That's why I said specifically "to me" because it may not apply to everyone.
