In need of a good surge protector

Thread Starter
So i'm in need of a surge protector and saw this on ebay.

Do you reckon it's worth it for the price or would you recommend any others?

APC makes some good quality surge protectors. The thing to look for would be the maximum coverage (besides how much surge protection the device offers) the device will cover in the event of a power loss and you lose everything attached to the surge protector.

There are some out there that offer $50,000 or more in replacement equipment, should the device fail.

I've always been a fan of Panamax. I have 4 of them I think. I believe their coverage is actually $100,000.
