I think a new PSU would solve my problem!

Update: SOLVED!

I have Tagan BZ series 700w and it's acting up under load, high pitch noise
Tried both 9800gtx+ and now using 560 GTX Ti Twin Frozr II OC - always noisy when gpu is under heavy load.

Found these on YouTube..

Both of these videos somewhat related to the issue

Now I'm looking to buy a new PSU - any recommendations ?

This looks pretty good: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...air%20hx%20750 - your thoughts ?

The hx 750 is a very good psu you, but are you going to sli? A corsair or seasonic 650watt would be fine, and a 750 watt would be more for if you want to go sli with 570's or 580's or similar later on.

Yeah I've been reading a couple of reviews and it looks might fine, even has them japanese capacitors - think 3dgamer review on youtube
It's a future proof buy for a new computer later, so I think I'll be going for the 750w.
I notice you have similar PSU and GPU, does it make any noisy sounds when under load, like the ones in video above ?

That sound is cap whine, most psu's and video cards have it

and that PSU u linked is an awsome unit, will easily run up to a GTX580 sli (no furmark and prime95) at the same time, that requires 850w.

but for the 560ti i would say even a 650-750w unit would be nice to allow for future sli.

Nope, no whining or buzzing or anything

And you won't regret that PSU you decided on either.

Do you plan on SLI? If not a GOOD 400w would give you room for some slight overclocking and a good 500w would give you all the room you need for extreme overclocks.

Like I said above, I'm buying a future proof PSU, so 750w I guess

Anyway, what is most important to me now is for this helicopter soundis noisy whine to stop and not to take off from my case lol!
