Oh and is that 1.44 Bios Official?
Welcome.

No, its a BETA UEFI, but it works well.

It has some great features:
1. On the 7-segments are now the temperatures of the CPU (debug LED's)
2. UEFI has now two skins to choose
3. On the CPU section You can read out the AGEISA version on the MBO (last is on the 1.44, the 1.1.0.0)

You can always flash back to older one if You dont like it.

In my archive i have those UEFI-es:
1.00
1.10
1.20
1.22 - beta
1.30
1.44 - beta

Still missing the first release of the UEFI that came with the first boards:
0.27
0.33

Just want to test them, but cant find them anywhere.

I am getting ready to read the manual, and was just wondering if there are any certain details I should know about, which may not be in the manual? So if you have any input, tips or suggestions I am all ears.

Thank you
That's an expensive mobo for that cpu. BD, I hope? If this is your first build, read the manual before connecting each item. After that you'll probably be able to do it and only have to check the manual for front panel connections and the like.

Yes, I plan on getting a BD sometime next year. And for the class this MB is in, I thought it was priced pretty well, as compared to the CHV, or UD7. Thanks for the tips. I have the rig up, and it is running like a champ.
