Hmm. Checking.

Try it with one stick of memory, then the other if that doesnt work. Posting your specs would be helpful as well.

Already tried swapping the memory, one stick at a time.

CPU: i5-2500k
RAM: G.Skill RipJaws X 8GB
Mobo: ASRock P67 Extreme4 Gen3
Video Card: MSI GTX560ti (I also tested my old MSI 8800GT)
PSU: SeaSonic X750 Gold

EDIT: Forgot to list the PSU

Is the 4/8 pin and 24 pin power both connected as well?
Yes checked both then double checked, they're connected well.

Thanks for the help btw.

Frustrating, I also had an error that wasn't listed in the manual and it sucks. Tried all the memory slots?

Yes, just finished trying each slot. Same error.

EDIT: Yes you're right this is very frustrating just due to the fact that the code is unlisted.

Well you will be happy to know that googling "extreme4 gen3 error code 23" gets you this thread as the top result, lol.

Ok, have you inspected the board well, looked for broken caps or anything like that?

Ok, I found something in this thread about this code on the previous (b3) version of this board and it being a dead proc. I certainly hope it isn't that.

Try reseating the proc. Look for any bent pins in the proc socket as well.

Board looks good, I don't see anything wrong. Socket looks good. Quickly plopped the proc in a MSI-P67A-GD55 I had laying around for a future build for a friend. Infinite boot loop. Dead processor fears confirmed?

Ah, yeah, could be. I assume the board was working fine before? I mean, the chances of having 2 dead boards are pretty slim.
