570gtx display issue

Hey guys I have an issue that has me completely stumped.... Ok so I just put together a new pc with two gigabyte 570 gtx's in SLI. Now my problem is the second card gives no display (and no lights come up on the card, whereas the first does). However the fans on the card are running.

But this is where it gets strange. I thought it could be an issue with the PSU (silent pro 1000w) o the mobo pcie slot (asrock extreme 7 Gen 3), so I took the card running in pcie_1 (that displays fine) out, put the second card in the same slot (pcie_1) by itself ( so no sli) with the same cables, BAM no display.

So I'm thinking it's a power fault with the card. So I send it back. Tests are run without issue. They send to the manufacturer, same deal.

So at this point I have NO IDEA what the he'll could be wrong. The other card is running fine. But this card with the same power cables / mobo slot, that apparently has no power issues wont display....

Can anyone help me out?

System:
i7 2500k
Asrock extreme 7 Gen 3 mobo
8gb ddr3 1600 ram
2 (or rather 1 atm) gigabyte 570GTX super OC
Silent Pro 1000w PSU

First of all its "GTX 570" sorry but it bugs me when people write "570GTX" just like "6950HD"

OT: So you have two monitors plugged in, one of each card is that correct?

Have you setup the second monitor in your display control panel? Nvidia CP?

If you unplug the working card and put the non working one it, does it display on your primary monitor?

Bahaha. Sorry. Ok GTX 570
I tried both monitors, when I had the cards set up in sli, when I went into cp the second wasn't registering so there was no option to enable sli and thus a second monitor.
As for the final question, actually answered that in the OP. Took the working out and replaced the other in the same spot, plugged into primary monitor - no display.

@Scorpion - I agree! And yes that is correct

Do they have an "alternate" output like HDMI that you can try? Sounds like the card could be bad.

As in the OP, it was sent back to the seller, then again to manufacturer - both no issues with power or display
