after 1gpm you really won't see a drop in temps from flow rates, maybe a degree or two, you'll need more rad or higher rpm fans

Im going for MCP655 since it has 5 speed modes, so if I upgrade my rig I can speed it up.

As for res, the Phobya Balancer 250 is good enough.

You can buy a fan control w/ knobs to vary the speed on the pump. That's what I do w/ my mcp 355 w/ xspc top
