CMOS clear issue

Thread Starter
Hi, recently today I had to clear my CMOS and I completely forgot to switch off my PSU. The board works fine it is just that so many people emphasize how big of a deal it is to turn off your PSU and I am wondering if there is any potential damage even though everything seems to be going just fine thanks.
