Something is running at 127c !!

Ok so I just bought the sig rig below (mobo, APU, and ram actually) and everything runs peachy keen. My only issue is, that even though all the temps are super low, something is running at 127c (according to SPEEDFAN). However, I pull up HWmonitor and it shows nothing running that high. So I feel around the motherboard with a fresh clean dry finger. Turns out, the only thing that is hot is the "TPU". Now I don't know a lot about this yet, but I bought the wrong motherboard, couldn't return it (even for store credit) and I wanted DDR3 so I went ahead and bought an APU and what not.

Pics in a minute, but why is my TPU so hot!

EDIT : also nothing is overclocked yet.

Probably just a faulty sensor, I don't think your system could run for long with something at that temperature without you noticing.

I'm having a hard time remembering what TPU stands for. But let's break this down.

Do you have good airflow in the system? Incoming, and outgoing flow?
Are your wires managed nicely without a mass of wires disrupting the airflow?
Are all fans CPU, GPU, exhaust and incoming all functional?
Do you use manual or auto fan controls for your 5850's?

Besides that, I really can't figure out more without additional details.

127C is pretty hot, I would think you'd be able to feel the heat from that without even reaching in your case were it really that temp.

It's likely there is no sensor there at all... it just has a random figure. I have that with Aida64 on my PC.

In my HTPC there's a sensor that reads anywhere from 83 degrees to 130. There isn't anything that comes close to that temperature in there. It also happens to be an ASUS AMD motherboard. Odds are you're looking at a faulty sensor

True enough, I've gotten my GTX 470's up to 100c by mistake when I forgot to increase fan speed to 80% before gaming..Could feel it 2-3 feet away on my hand coming from the rig. I'll have to agree it's a faulty sensor only logical choose since the rig is still alive.

You could bake some brownies inside your case at those temps.

My wires, don't actually go inside of my case at all (I have it in a motherboard tray disconnected from a case). If you look at all my temps, you can tell the airflow is great. I was thinking it was a faulty sensor. I have 2 fans setup that take all heat in any possible locations away from the area. One blowing towards it, and one blowing away. there are also 2 fans on the cpu cooler in the center (one intake, one outtake.) The two outside fans to disperse heat are 140mm's and the other 2 on the cpu are 120's. The apartment itself (and the room its in) stays below 70F for the most part, usually around 68F or less. Nothing is hot to the touch anymore since I put one of the 140's over the TPU. It's regular room temp metal cold. Also, I have a fan controller for each fan. They most stay at 100%. The GPU is usually between 65-75% as my GPUs temps are usually around 35-43c.
