Get the Humble Bundle! (The last one was great)

Still under $5 to get all those games.

Terraria is a combination of minecraft, digdug, and the legend of Zelda links awakening (greatest game ever made).

Tons of items, loot, digging, crafting, dungeons, and the developer is working on massive content updates for the second time.

Bastion was way short, for 15$

I can't get enough of it. I keep unlocking additional items, enemies, bosses, chapters and characters for subsequent playthroughs. A recent patch actually added new bosses.

The challenge of the game is adapting your playstyle according to what the game gives you and assessing the risk/reward of various situations.

Do I enter this room hoping for a useful item or do I conserve my health and try to tackle this level's boss? Do I eat this pill knowing it could just as easily damage my stats as it can improve them? Do I sell my health for more damage? Do I trust my gut feeling that there's a hidden door here and potentially waste a bomb to find out? Those and many more questions you'd ask yourself while playing this game.

Yea, there are a bunch of sweet Indie games out. I just tried the demo for Gemini Rue, and I have to highly recommend it. People should check out Desura if they want Indie games. They seem to have a lot of stuff there.
