Deus Ex: HR is great, but I finished it in ~14 hours (did all quests except one), and don't have much desire to replay it.
Games I'd recommend that you could probably find for cheap:
* Mass Effect 1 and 2. I enjoyed 2 very much, 1 was great as well but feels much less polished.
* Mirror's Edge. It was $5 on Origin for a while. Great music and immersion factor. Feels very unique.
* Portal 1 & 2. I don't think puzzle games have much replay value, but these games just have great characters and dialogue. Portal 2 was $15 last week.
* Crysis 1 simply because it's so cheap now, if you haven't played it. I have both 1 and 2 but besides the graphics I'm not really fond of the gameplay or story (what story?).

Witcher 2's gameplay is VERY different from the first. I thought the first had a great story but the combat mechanics were very clunky, and the game just feels rather dated to be honest. I had to push myself to finish the first two acts, then it got better. If you like W2 there's no guarantee you'll like W1. The stories of the two games are also quite unrelated.Edited by Genome852 - 10/8/11 at 6:46pm
