[DT] HP Claims Someone Snuck Android Onto Its TouchPads

I don't know why they didn't ship them with android in the first place.

I had a friend who got a touchpad when the liquidated, and already had a root or whatever you would call it for WebOS ready that let him put Droid on it.

Droid is a marketing name for Verizon phones.


While Android can be installed, it is not fully functionaly on TouchPads yet.

Same here... WebOS is good enough so far.

I would switch to Honeycomb or Ice Cream for better multitasking and widgets though.
