XSPC Rasa 750 RX 360 Question

Thread Starter
I have the 650D case and I'm almost positive the rad slot on the top of the case is meant for a 240 and not a 360. First, I am going to cool my CPU. Later, I will cool my GTX 570 and possibly a second one.

My question is, would it make more sense for me to buy the 360 now and mod the case at the top to allow for the 360 OR to buy the 240 and then later get a second 120 rad for the GPU?

Also, I'm guessing it would make it a lot trickier to have a 240 rad to the cpu and a 120 to the GPU.

Please correct any information above that is horrendously incorrect.

Thank You!

You really want a 360mm rad for 2 GPUs or a CPU+GPU in your Loop. I would recommend a 360 and a 240 or at least a 360 and 120 or 140 for a CPU+2 GPUs in your loop.

I say, if you are willing to mod your case to fit a 360mm rad on top, then go for it. Another option would be to put a 240mm on top and mount a 360mm on the back of your case.

It depends how comfortable modding the case.
You could use a 120 + 240 and it would be sufficient for your hardware, but more rad would be better.
It would be very simple to put both radiators, the cpu, and gpu in the same loop.

Hmm. Good advice.

I think maybe I'll start with the 360 and throw it on the back of the case for the CPU+GPU.

Then, once I get my second GPU I'll put a 240 on top and do that solely for the CPU and the 360 will run for the 2x GPU. Make sense?

I am guessing if I buy the 360 kit it will be sufficient for the CPU+GPU. Would I need another full kit for the 240 once I get it?

What I mean is:
360rad + pump + res = GPUx2
240rad + pump + res = CPU

Or will I just need to buy a 2nd rad and add it to the loop?

360rad + pump + res = GPUx2
240rad + just add it to the loop.

Rule of thumb 120.1 for each block

Yep. I'm pretty certain now on what rads to get. I'm just not sure if I need a larger res than the one that comes with the 360 kit for everything, possibly a stronger pump, etc.

Should I buy 2 kits? Or just a 360 kit and then a 240 rad separately?

For cost I would just get a 360 kit adding a 240 now or later to the loop

Awesome. So I wouldn't need a larger res or a stronger pump to cool everything? The 360 kit alone could power through the CPU, 2xGPU, 360rad, and 240rad?

Yes it will
