I really love my Deathadder 3500DPI. Very accurate and fairly comfortable. The Steelseries Ikari Laser is supposed to be a good mouse too and EXTREMLY comfortable!

I was going to comment on that, but I thought my post was long enough already. their was a two-three day adjustment period, but once you get the layout of the buttons in your head, it's as natural as touch typing. It also helps that they include a pack of adhesive nubs that stick to the buttons so you can figure out where your thumb is on the pad by feeling them.

The side buttons aren't so sensitive that you cant grip and move the mouse with your thumb on the side where it feels natural, and the left and right 'click' buttons are close to two inches long, so you can move your hand up and down the mouse if you have a hard time reaching the back 6 buttons.

Also, the odd looking contouring of the right side is textured differently and has a little cleft that you can grip with your ring finger so as not to interrupt your motion while you're doing all these hand gymnastics. This mouse did seem sort of thin and awkward to hold until I caught on to that part.

If you're holding this mouse right, the tip of your pinky should be on your mouse pad.

The TL-DR version;
The side buttons work just fine and comfortably, but their is an adjustment and learning period.

The Cyborg R.A.T. 7 is my favorite so far. I've used mostly Logitech mice. The MX500, MX518, G5 and G500. Been happy with those. Used a Cooler Master Sentinel Advance. Was not real impressed with it.

Why is it free? Does the G500 come with perfect no scratch condition or it is not perfectly made?
