Help needed with Antec 620 WC

Hi,

I just got my first water cooling setup. The reason I went with 620 was cuz its much cheaper that building one myself.

I am just having some trouble tightening the cpu block on the fitting provided. I can lock the block onto my cpu, but it seems slightly loose. I am pretty sure it wont come out, but for some reason the fitting seems a little loose for my comfort.

Just to have other peoples thoughts on it. I will redo the whole thing again tonight.

Thanks

You can do what I did which was just look on youtube to confirm that you're doing it correctly. Couple videos from searching, I just grabbed the shortest one.

Just make sure you're using the right backplate.

Also, check out the Antec 620/920 thread, there is a lot of great information in there!

Interesting thing I read about those - there are very slight mounting differences for coolers between LGA 1155, 755, and 1366, even though most coolers use the same mounting plates for all of them (antec specifically...). This usually isn't an issue, but I have heard of people having that specific problem. I just got an antec 920 that I'll be intalling, I'll let you know how that goes I suppose.

Thanks for the video. and responses. I think I know what I did wrong. I placed the colored washer below the mount bracket. Looks like it goes from the top. Thanks guys.
I will install it and get back on how it worked.
