Im not sure if anyone else has addressed this but i'll ask anyways

just finished a new build (first one in YEARS). im seeing idle temps @around 37c and Load temps (prime95 stress testing @100%) at a sustained 64c, are these temps to high or is this normal for this core?

Current setup
Cpu: 17-2600k
CPU cooler: ZALMAN CNPS9900MAX (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835118074
Mobo: P8p67 evo
GPU: evga gtx570
Ram: 8gb DDR3
Fans: 2x 120mm (one if front and one in back) 2x80mm (one over Gpu and one on HDD)

Stock cooler or?
I would say those temperatures are alright. Nothing to worry about.
You are good till mid 80s.

Temps could be a little lower but we need to know what vcore/oc you're running at and room temps could make a difference. Since you're running prime blending I'm assuming you OC already and knowing your vcore will explain your temps better.

Might just need to remount your cooler or apply better TIM but I idle at 27-32C at vcore 1.34 with a hyper 212+.

I would reseat the heatsink. Don't use too much thermal paste. I have the same cooler and mine runs a little cooler. How long did you run prime for? What paste are you using?
ahh... Sorry bout that, didnt notice it before. Seems kinda high. A reseat is in order.
