First impressions of Dark Souls

Uhhh...

I've probably played around half an hour to an hour, and I just couldn't play any more. I do like the cutscenes, but gameplay wise, bored and annoyed.

Just letting you guys know, this game is going to be very hit and miss IMO. Rent it first.

It's very different from most RPGs, as there is a fighting element as well as the item/stat element.

I think most people enjoy it if they put the time in to get okay at fighting. It's just a question of it you're willing to put the time in to play it or not. I'd suggest trying to play until the first (not tutorial) boss before giving up on it.
