ASrock bios 2.0 update , black screen. Need help

Everything were okay until i flash the 2.0 drive and now i'm getting a blank screen i'm wondering if i should do the 2.1 and flash it or reinstall windows? If you guys can help that would be nice thanks

Try putting in your windows install disc and booting off of it and enter repair mode. I would use the most up to date bios as well.

okay when i install the windows 7 disc, i can boot it and everything is there. But when i just a restart to see if it will boot without the disc it wouldnt? So should i install the 2.1 bios flash or how can i boot it without having the disc

Did you not run the auto repair? Do that.

You can if you want...I always have my bios up to date.

Your settings in bios will go to default when you flashed it. Reset your bios the way you had it before you flashed it.

Just fixed the problem guys.

1) The boot option #1 was on my backup drive = on windows so it didnt boot up
2) All I did is change the boot drive that I had my windows 7 on

Iono why updating the bios causes that, but yea. Weird...

Glad to hear you fixed it.

Yea, when you flash teh bios all the settings get over written with the flash of the new one. Also check all your other settings like ram timings and voltage.
