Nah water isnt needed. Im not sure about the x6, those temps are low for any proc, but then he is only running 2 cores.

Another 200mm on top blowing out, another 200mm in front pulling air and and 120 in the back blowing out. All if this in a HAF 922 Cooler Master. When I was running 19 I was about 39-41C on the stress test.
I know running Prime95 is good, but if you want to see that youre stable (non-BSOD) and what your temps really can get to, run one instance for each core you have active of the attached toast.exe. I dont believe Toast is a substitute, so dont get me wrong, but itll tell you quickly if it wont hold up at all. It doesnt actually do anything but put the pedal to the metal on each core, maxes it out, so if you run that and it BSOD's, then Prime would be a waste to try lol.

Right now I have turned off sleep mode so the computer will stay on and the stress test is running and Ill check it in the morning. Right now it is staying 44C. I know the temp is going to drop a little outside and the house will get a tad cooler but not much. If It stays at 43-45C when I wake up should I go further or is 43-45 to high for that speed? I know the max is 62C but I do not want to go near that. Basically what should I be doing next. I am actually happy with 4.0 but wouldn't mind trying either.

Let me ask you about Toast. I clicked on it and I see my four cores moving on Coretemp but they are not at 100% load is that correct?

You need to run one instance for every core, so if you have 4 cores, run 4 Toasts. Mind you, it WILL bog your system down quite a bit

Ok. 1090t.

OC formula.

Multiplier 16x
FSB - 250mhz
vCore 1.42-1.45
Memory clock 1333mhz (we will bump this up but in oc'ing even the ram comes into play.

Or you could try

Multiplier 18x
FSB 225mhz
vCore 1.45
memory 1333mhz

Stress testing cocktail.

20 passes of linpack (linX)
10-14hrs of Prime95

Your cooler choice isn't the best but yet it isn't the worst ether.

Good luck.
