Upgrading PC. Need opinions/suggestions

Thread Starter
So I have the opportunity to upgrade my PC. I have already established to get a 2500K.

Now, I have to change my mobo. But, my current case only has room for microATX boards.

So my plan to end up with is as follows:

CPU: 2500K *Intend to OC @ 4.5Ghz
Heatsink: CM 212+
GPU: GTX 470 *Intend to OC @ 700/1500*
RAM: 2x4GB 1600Mhz
PSU: OCZ 700w ModX
Case: Boring mATX
Mobo: I don't know

I need advice on an mATX board that will support an OCed 2500K well. I really really don't want to buy a new case.

If you suspect any bottle-necking or unpleasant stuff, tell me.

Budget for mobo is ~$120.

Open to other suggestions.

I'm not an intel expert, so I probably won't give you best advice for mobo, but OCZ don't make great PSUs. And, you better take a MSI 560 Ti Twin Frozr.

The 212+ will hold the OC.

Quick edit : For PSU, get something from xfx/corsair/antec/seasonic. 550-750w depending if you want to SLI later on.

he will not be able to OC if he gets that as it is a H67 and not P67. watch out for that on smaller form factor mobos.

Isn't it hard to SLI or something on a mATX?

You need to just revamp it all. That's what I did. I found the best stuff for the money:

Motherboard
PSU (Great for the money. I have one too.)
Case (Suck it up and go for the Mid Tower)
