There are several BF3 threads with all kinds of info on how different cards are running the game. I suggest you do a quick search and read some posts.

Here are some in the F/S section:

Sapphire 6870 $150 shipped

Diamond 6950 2GB Unlocked to 6970 $250 shipped.

Asus GTX 460 1gb DC, Asus 6850 1gb DC $125 shipped Each

Asus GTX560 Ti DirectCU II $210 shipped

Asus DirectCU 6850 1GB $110 shipped each (2 available)

God damn just realised the amount of GPU FS threads, damn you guys in the US!!!!! Those are some awesome deals!!!

If your mobo supports CF, I would get the 2 6850s, he could probably do you a deal for both

That 6950 unlocked looks pretty decent aswell.

I'm surprised nobody hasn't even asked what resolution are you playing at?

Anyway I'm more than happy with how my 6950 is handling BF3, definitely recommending the card.
The 1gb version is cheaper.

If you can wait, see how the 7xxx series affect the market, you could possibly get a lot better performance for the money you'd spend right now.
