All the way up to 1.25v? If I go up one increment from auto it's at .875, 1.25 is a long ways away

You can try 1.2V first and check stability. It's pretty safe up to 1.3V

Currently running FSB at 250, vcore at 1.4, ht set to 1600 in bios and at 2000 in cpu-z, cpu/nb at 10x, vddnb voltage at 1.2. CPU temps at 37C during stress test. seems like it's doing good.

So does increasing the voltages decrease life span of components even when within a safe range?

Everything decreases life to a certain extent

Just keep the temps and voltage under the recommended limits.
that's a somewhat tricky question
It does, but if you don't go crazy on voltages and keep your temps at check, you chip will last years, and will most probably survive until you need to upgrade again. But yeah, it would probably last more time if it was left alone at stock

Thanks for all the help guys . I'll probably leave these settings for awhile, see how it goes playing games and stuff, and then I might push the limits a little further.
