Burned my CPU?! - Page 2

Have you tied clearing the CMOS via the jumper?
Check out this info under MSI AM3 boards your model link
that board uses 4+1 phase and only supports a TDP of 125
so in might be you VRM.

The psu is a strong one, it's only 15 days old and up and kicking. I think it's the VRMs, I just hope that the CPU didn't go down or anything. The power supply is A OK, so I assume that no damage was done to the CPU, only the mobo. Thanks guys, just happy that this is the least expensive of the three to replace

RMA your CPU while you're waiting, AMD is good about RMA's (just don't mention it was overclocked).

Buy a new motherboard (RMA your old one if you want to, so you can resell it later, or return it if possible).

Buy a new PSU and get rid of that Raidmax garbage. A good quality 400w PSU is only like $40-45 or so (Corsair CX430, Antec Neo ECO 400, Antec Earthwatts Green 430, or Rosewill Green 430). A good quality 400w unit (like the ones I've mentioned) would be perfect for your rig, and won't break the bank.

Better safe than sorry.
