i7 users, if you wish to Fold -bigadv WUs, add the -bigadv flag after -smp (with a space). It should look like this:
Folding@home-Win32-x86.exe" -smp -bigadv

However, if this is your first time Folding, only Fold normal SMP WUs for the first 10 WUs. Then, you will qualify for bonuses, and then add the -bigadv flag.

when i set it up i did it so it would off fold bigadv units

the flag just makes it so you CAN get bigadv, does not guarantee them. sometimes there are not any available, so you will still get regular SMP. Of course, this is assuming you have HT on...

oh so is a no for sure u will get bigadv WU? didnt know that and yes i have ht on that the only reason i lower my OCd with more volts

yeah, couple weeks back I went two days straight without picking up a bigadv, just regular SMP with the -bigadv flag on. This is rare though, I get bigadv more often than not when I ask for them...

oh ok i just let fold to see waht i get 19K from my gpu is good enough i think , i remember when 4000 point was awesome and now is 20 k on a single gpu , crazy thing happen in a year

lol, yeah, wasn't around for that, just started in April and the -bigadv bonus's were cut soon after I started running them, so I am getting less PPD now than when I started

i folded when the 8800's were beasts, so u can imagine the ppd we used to get,lol

and i stop folding for a year

As already said, you'll know you're folding a bigadv unit when the client says is working with core_a5.exe.
Once you finish that WU you might get a bigadv one

nope, still on core_A3

just added the -bigadv flag to the shortcut , let see what happens
